Google Webmaster Tools Adds Malware Review Form

The Google Webmaster Central Blog announced a new feature to submit a request to Google to review pages that were labeled as being malware.

We reported in the past that Google Search Results Now May Display Malware Warnings. In addition, Google has been sending malware notifications via email to Webmasters. The main issue was that webmasters were getting this warnings but after correcting the issue, they did not know how to proceed to remove the malware warning from the Google results.

Now, Google has added a form within Google Webmaster Tools to request a malware review from Google. In addition, Google has added a status section, so you can see the status of your request. If the malware has been removed, Google says you should see the removal of the malware warning from the search results within about 24 hours. But if the malware is still present, Google will tell you where to find it, URL by URL.
