How-to posters from Google
Google has published a set of posters for the classroom, explaining stuff like how a search engines work, how to improve your search results and how to make the most of Google Books.
The posters are designed for classroom use, but even if you are not a teacher, some of the posters could be handy.
Librarians will probably find the posters on how to improve your search results useful, as well as the poster on Google Scholar, with the headline “Need six authoritative, relevant sources? Before sunrise?”.
As an Internet professional, I often find myself answering questions about web search, as I am sure many of Pandia’s readers do.
The biggest challenge is definitely not the school kids I know. My educational background really gets tested when I try to teach my mother or my uncle to find their way online. Some of these posters can come in handy the next time.
