Webmaster World Pubcon Las Vegas 2007
The Webmaster World Pubcon returns to Las Vegas on December 4 to 7 with a large number of presentations and discussions on Internet marketing in general, and search engine marketing in particular.
It was actually Pandia that named the conference series a “Pub conference”. The first event was held in a London pub as a low key meeting place for beer, mingling and gossip and without any serious sessions.
There is still room for beer and gossip, but the venue has turned into something much, much larger and business like.
That being said, there is still room for the amateur at Pubcon, and we mean this in the most positive sense of the word.
Webmaster World puts it this way:
“We do not hire professional speakers. In fact, this is the first time that some of our speakers have ever given public presentations. At our Orlando show in February 2004, we had over a dozen speakers who had never given public presentations before. For example, a gentleman who we know to have grossed over two million dollars on affiliate programs last year gave a presentation and had never talked about it in public before. This is the type of success record we seek when selecting speakers.”
So, who will be there? Well, Brett Tabke, of course, the spiritual leader of Webmaster World. Matt Cutts of Google fame will tell us how to avoid spamming Google. The kickoff keynote address is by Craig Newmark, the founder of Craig’s List.
Among the large number of sessions, we will mention:
