Today at SES San Jose David Pann, Vice President, Marketplace Design and Matching of Yahoo! Search Marketing announced that Yahoo advertisers can now pay for their accounts using Paypal as an option.

Yahoo said in a statement that they plan to launch this change on August 28th:

Yahoo! Search Marketing advertisers will be able to pay by using PayPal. We know that many of our advertisers in the retail space, use PayPal and would find this feature an easy option. PayPal provides a secure, flexible online payment option. Advertisers can opt-in to PayPal from the Administration tab.

This further enhances the relationship Yahoo has built with eBay & Paypal as Yahoo Search Marketing ads by Paypal merchants feature the blue cart icon in their sponsored link ads. In addition, Yahoo Publisher Network also offers Paypal direct payment as an option to share ad revenues with their publishers.
